SDX — Software Defined Anything.
Hardware is only as good as the software that runs it. SDX LAB defines behaviour in software — the firmware inside our access points, the platform that manages them, and the automation that ties a customer's systems together. That is what lets us say the Newbridge line is genuinely our own.
Qualcomm silicon. Our firmware.
Every Newbridge access point is built on Qualcomm’s current-generation Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) networking platform — the same silicon named on our datasheets. We engineer the firmware on top of it with the Qualcomm QSDK (Qualcomm Software Development Kit), then layer our own proprietary driver and firmware over that: RF tuning, feature enablement, regulatory calibration and tight integration with the Newbridge controller.
That is the difference between assembling a radio and building one. How the hardware steers links, onboards clients and reports to the cloud is defined in software we own — which is exactly what Software Defined Anything means for wireless.
